Conjunctions of Lunitari

Conjunctions with Solinari & Nuitari

Each of the three Orders of High Sorcery worships and receives its powers from the brother gods, Lunitari, Solinari, and Nuitari, which are represented by the three moons that orbit Krynn in Ethereal Plane. Wizards of the Red Robes worship Lunitari whose domain is illusion and reshaping magic. Lunitari, which is also know as the “witching light”, is where the god of neutral magic resides. This second largest moon’s orbit takes 28 days with 7 days per quarter. Influence of magic waxes and wanes according to the phases and alignments of the moons of magic. Apprentice wizards and renegade wizards are unaffected by the lunar phases.

All three moons of magic come into conjunction thrice in 504 days, but not between equal periods of time. These conjunctions happens twice when they are crescents and once when they are full which is also know as the Great Eye.

AD&D Rule: A Wizard of the Red Robes gains +2 to Saving Throws and +1 to Effect Level when Lunitari comes into conjunction with Solinari and Nuitari. Also, she can memorize 2 additional spell (of any level that wizard can cast). This moon alignment effects are cumulative with the moon phase effects.

D&D 3rd Edition Rule: A Wizard of the Red Robes cast spells at +2 caster level and with saving throws DCs against their spells increased by 2 when Lunitari is in conjunction with Solinari and Nuitari. These bonuses stack with the moon phase bonuses or penalties.
