Phases of Lunitari

Waning

Each of the three Orders of High Sorcery worships and receives its powers from the brother gods, Lunitari, Solinari, and Nuitari, which are represented by the three moons that orbit Krynn in Ethereal Plane. Wizards of the Red Robes worship Lunitari whose domain is illusion and reshaping magic. Lunitari, which is also know as the “witching light”, is where the god of neutral magic resides. This second largest moon’s orbit takes 28 days with 7 days per quarter. Influence of magic waxes and wanes according to the phases and alignments of the moons of magic. Apprentice wizards and renegade wizards are unaffected by the lunar phases.

AD&D Rule: A Wizard of the Red Robes gains no bonus or penalty when Lunitari is waxing. This moon phase effect is cumulative with the moon alignment effects.

D&D 3rd Edition Rule: During the waning period, a Wizard of the Red Robes gains no bonuses or penalties.
