For a long period of Krynn's history, these powerful weapons were thought to be nothing more than myth. They are very real, however, and have been credited in turning the tide of the Third Dragon War and the War of the Lance. The Dragonlances are created from pure Dragonmetal, which is only found at the Monument of the Silver Dragon, with the assistance of the Hammer of Kharas and the Silver Arm of Ergoth. There are two types of dragonlances: the eight foot footman's lance and the sixteen foot mounted lance.
