These rare battleaxes were encountered by the companions during their trip to Icewall in search of a dragonorb. They are made from very dense ice and can not be used at temperatures above freezing. Only the Revered Clerics of the Ice Tribes have been able to successfully create frostreavers and it is even very difficult for them. It should be noted however, that once before the Cataclysm a renegade mage almost succeeded in replicating them.
